Interesting thing about darkness is that no amount of it can withstand the tiniest bit of light. Just can’t be done. Darkness must flee at the instance of light. Yet our lives are surrounded by the darkness of this fallen world. In it, we tend to stumble along, cursing flashlights that need batteries, trying to remember where the light switch is, holding our hands out so we don’t run into to things. Darkness also has a tendency to fuel our fear of the unknown.
